Happy Birthday, Dad

Today would have been my Dad’s 72nd birthday. We miss him so much. I remember that he loved making his birthday stretch out all day….sometimes all week. I remember calling him and asking him how he was celebrating. He’d list off what they were doing or having for dinner. He’d always end it with, “but a call from my sons is the icing on the cake.” Happy Birthday, Dad. I love you.

I only have good memories of my Dad. He was an upbeat, generous and kind man, always with a sense of humor.
